Little Bear Westsail 32 refit: Chain Plate reinstall Blog #97

Arrrrr me hearties. Welcome aboard.

This job is one of the most physically challenging jobs that I’ve had to do on the boat. Reasons being: It’ very cramped – inside a hanging locker, and a locker in the head. It’s hot and sweat inducing. It’s very cramped. 3M 4200 is very gooey and gets all over the hands and tools. Did I mention it’s very cramped? It’s very cramped.

This is one job that I actually had some help on. A friend dropped by to have a look and ended up crawling into the hanging locker to twist some nuts on. Thanks Ken, much appreciated.

As always fair winds, following seas, and God bless.
