Little Bear Westsail 32 refit: Cheeky bits Pt. 2 Blog #53

Arrrrr me hearties! Welcome aboard.

Now that the rudder-cheeks are laminated it’s time to cut them out – shape them, and drill the bolt holes. This is a bit nerve wracking for me because one mistake and the boards will be ruined and I’ll have to start over. Ash isn’t hugely expensive but there is a cost and it takes time to purchase supplies. Time I don’t want to waste.

I also re-drill the boom-kin bolt holes to produce the epoxy sleeves that I want.

Fair winds, following seas, and God  bless.
